The Community Alliance Awards program honors the individuals, firms, and organizations whose overall work, leadership, and dedication shape the character and vibrancy of our communities, and the future of our built environment.

UNSHELTERED ARH 250 – Studio 4 Site Culture & Integral Urbanism
Students at the Academy of Art University school of Architecture, through site investigation and a scrutiny of typology, formulated a critical design stance toward the architectural problem of how integrate the homeless shelter into the fabric of the new incarnation of SF, making it stigma free and relevant. The exhibition showcases multiple scales, guerilla methods, and collective space, revealing alternate models for a public infrastructure in San Francisco.
Project name: Harmonious Homeless Shelter
Designed a homeless shelter that integrated a music performance space using AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to explore the role of architecture within the context of evolving urban environments.
